It was a cool morning September 14th, 1955, the doctors hand slapped Wayne's bottom and he woke up crying the blues. (Wayne, not the doctor.)

Well if you're going to start your life with the blues you might just as well pick up a guitar.

That's exactly what Wayne did. Many guitarists get their first lessons through Alfred's books, others take the time to study Mel Bays methods, but Wayne picked up a Roy Clark Big Note Song/Coloring Book and never looked back. Even now after spending years on the road with numerous bands, including National Recording artist David Allan Coe, (This is true, just ask him.) He still likes to practice fifteen minutes almost every day. Now that he has joined the successful group "Cool Beenz", he is considering ordering the the guitar lesson combo offer by Estaban from those now famous late night infomercials.

During a recent interview Wayne "Sixfinger" Severson was asked many questions.

In an independent survey of Wayne's family he was voted as a "pretty good guitar player". His mother said "He's a nice guy too".

Rumor has it that Wayne will soon have his very own business cards printed.

Wayne has an assortment of guitars and amps. He currently favors his green guitar through his black amp. Also he drives a Dependable GMC Domesticmobile which he likes to have professionally refueled on Wednesdays.

One day he hopes to get an endorsement so he can get free picks.

One of the highlights of his career was being in a sequenced duo that was the opening act for the second cousin of a girl who claimed to be Elvis Presley's illegitimate daughter (once removed) at (or from) a club in Salina KS in 1989. (Believe it or not.)

Wayne wants to become a professional skeptic. He would apply for admittance in a skeptic school, but he doubts they would take him.

Favorite Road Story: While playing a club in Rolla MO, the Sunny Days band was on break, we all had on our matching flowered tuxedo shirts repleat with ruffles, the DJ was playing the classic song Celebrate, which was also in our repertoire. So we all rushed to the stage and took our positions and our instruments. We then joined in and took over by continuing to play the song. We didn't miss a beat, and man, that was cool!
